About Toto
The group Toto was formed in 1976 by guitarists Jeff Porcaro and David Paich (who were also well-known studio musicians with Boz Scaggs at the time) and bassist/singer Bobby Kimball. The name comes from the Latin word that means "all encompassing," the group was determined to explore every musical style.
The third album from Toto, Turn Back, was an unfulfilling success in 1981. However, they bounced back with their fourth release, Isolation, which contained two hit songs including the title track and Roseanna. The album and tour made them a household name throughout the globe.
After a break of couple of years, Toto return with the album Fahrenheit in 1986. The album is an departure from the ballads of previous albums, and also features some heavy rock. This was their first platinum album in North America.
When 먹튀검증 커뮤니티 record the band's fifth album the band loses their manager and is financially in trouble. They decide to change their name and create a new album with a new producer. Lead vocalist Fergie Frederiksen is let go and replaced by Joseph Williams, son of legendary film composer John Williams and 1950s actress Barbara Ruick. Joseph is more natural as a frontman than Frederiksen and gives the band a much needed boost.
In 1999, the band release Mindfields and embarks on an extensive tour around the world. After a few months in Europe they head to Japan where the shows are sold out. After a brief break, Toto resumes their recording and release their first live album, Absolutely Live in 1993. Toto's touring band is rounded out by drummer Lenny Castro, bassist Shannon Forrest and keyboardist Shem von Schroeck.
Music

Toto is an American rock band that enjoyed their biggest success in the eighties. The band was created by session musicians with experience and has sold more than 40 million albums in the world.
The first toto album was the self-titled Toto which was released in 1978. The album was a huge success and helped propel the band to international fame. Since then, the group has released fourteen albums that have all been a hit.
In 1984, Toto wrote their first and, to this day only, movie score for the film Dune. This was a huge project and the entire group had to be involved. Kingdom of Desire was another hit album. After a world tour drummer Bobby Kimball left the band and was replaced by drummer Fergie Frederiksen from Le Roux. The band continued to push forward with their fifth album, Isolation. The album contained a variety of songs that were hits, like "Stranger in Town".
After Isolation, Toto took a break from the spotlight and went on hiatus. This gave every member of the group the chance to explore their individual projects. In 1996, the band reformed to tour and record an album. It was the first time in over a decade that all of the original members were together on stage.
The following year, Toto toured with Ringo Starr's All Starr Band. This was the last time all of Toto's original members appeared on stage at once. After that, the group was again disbanded. However, Toto reunited in 2010 to perform a benefit show for the ALS Foundation. It was the first time that all of the original Toto members were performing together for over 31 years. In addition to the original members keyboardist Greg Tambu filled in for Paich and bassist David Hungate filled in for Shem Von Schroeck.
Tours
Toto has remained one of the most adored rock bands for over three decades, releasing huge hits like "Rosanna," "Hold The Line," and their 8X platinum smash, "Africa." With a wide range of influences, ranging from progressive rock to world beats to soul and jazz, the group continues to please their fans with their energetic arena rock.
Despite their fame the group had to face a number of setbacks in their later years. In 2002 keyboardist David Paich and drummer Greg Phillinganes took a medical leave of absence. Drummer Shem von Schroeck took over and the band was not the same without Paich and Phillinganes. In 2008, Toto decided to take a break from touring after changing the lineup of their band and a disappointing string of releases. The group returned to the road in 2012 following the release of the album 40 Trips Around The Sun.
The album was a return to form for the group, and the tour accompanied by sold-out shows in North America and Europe. Toto's reunion was bolstered by the inclusion of guitarist Steve Lukather and bassist Shem von Schroeck, both of whom had returned to the group.
Toto's music remains as relevant today as it was in the 1970s and 1980s and is growing in popularity with each new generation. Their success has made them a constant fixture in pop culture and their live shows are always packed with energy and excitement.
